At Lydia's House, we believe that a strong community begins with the families who live there. We offer programs to help those who live in Washington, D.C.'s Wards 7 & 8 neighborhood-serving more than 20,000 people since 1990.

Children Programs in DC
Lydia’s House “Young and Outstanding Ladies” is a “mentoring meets interactive technology” life skills development program that empowers young ladies between the ages of 12 and 18 living in Ward 8 to make positive, healthy life choices
Marking the culmination of a joint public-private effort to bring services and resources to DC’s communities most in need, Trinity Plaza features 49 one, two, and three bedroom affordable apartment units, 5,000 square feet of commercial space, a 2,000 square foot community room, and a fully equipped exercise room.
Additionally, there is covered parking for residents and plenty of street parking for guests. Commercial tenants also have secured parking in the rear.
